Bitcoin Surges to $68k, Ethereum Reaches $3,700, SOL, XRP, and DOGE Experience Significant Gains: Crypto Market Report for May 31

The crypto market is gearing up for a positive weekend, as most coins are trading in the green zone, according to a heat map overview. Currently, the global crypto market cap has increased by a modest 0.90% to reach $2.53 trillion.

However, the total trading volume across the market has decreased by 10.13% to $74.86 billion in the last 24 hours, with stablecoin volume accounting for 94.04% of the total trade. Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), the top coins in the market, have initiated a slight rally, followed by Solana (SOL), XRP, and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Let’s examine their price reactions over the past 24 hours.

Leading the charge, Bitcoin (BTC), the flagship cryptocurrency, has experienced a 1.06% jump, reaching a trading price of $68.2k in the last day. However, its trading volume has decreased by 4% to $26.3 billion during this period, with a live market cap of $1.3 trillion. BTC has been trading between the range of $67,446.06 and $69,466.71 in the past 24 hours.

On the altcoin front, Ethereum (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has witnessed a slight spike of 0.43%, with its price at $3,734. Similar to Bitcoin, its 24-hour trading volume has dropped by 20% to $13.6 billion. ETH has been trading between the lows and highs of $3,716.77 and $3,825.51 in the last day.

The price of Solana (SOL) has also increased at the time of writing. According to CoinMarketCap data, Solana has grown by a noticeable 1.38%, trading at $167.09. As a result, SOL currently holds the top gainer position among the top 10 largest cryptocurrencies. Additionally, Solana’s trading range has been between $164.73 and $172.05 in the past 24 hours.

Trending cryptocurrency XRP has also seen a spike in the last day. Per CMC data, the price of XRP has jumped by 0.7% to reach $0.52. XRP has also witnessed a 10% decrease in its trading volume within the past 24 hours, totaling $1.13 billion, with a live market cap of $28.8 billion. Notably, XRP has been trading between the lows and highs of $0.5159 and $0.5263 in the past 24 hours.

In the meme coin category, Dogecoin (DOGE) has sparked some hope as it rises by 1.0% to trade at $0.15. Additionally, the trading volume for DOGE has decreased by 22.27% to $1.1 billion. The 24-hour lows and highs of DOGE are $0.1579 and $0.1643.

On the other hand, Shiba Inu (SHIB) has taken a downward turn. CoinMarketCap data shows that the price of SHIB has dropped by 1.62% to trade at $0.00002577. The token’s trading volume within the past 24 hours has also declined significantly by 55.11% to $698.4 million. The lows and highs of SHIB in the last day are $0.00002572 and $0.00002696.

Moving on to the top trending gainers today, several coins have performed well in the past 24 hours. Some of them include:

JamsyCoin (JAMSY), a cryptocurrency project by a Tokyo-based Internet of Things provider, has experienced a growth of 20.05%, with a trading price of $0.029 and a 399% surge in 24-hour trading volume, totaling $564.4 million.

Dog To The Moon (DOG), a memecoin, has surged by 17% to reach a trading price of $0.007. Its trading volume during this time has also increased by 4% to $87.6 million.

Pepe (PEPE), another memecoin, has consistently maintained its position as a top gainer. Fresh data shows that PEPE is currently being sold at $0.00001457, indicating a 9% increase in the last day, with a 24-hour trading volume of $1.8 billion. Additionally, PEPE has been trading between the lows and highs of $0.00001328 and $0.000015, which is approximately 15.1% below its all-time high of $0.00001717 reached on May 27.
