CoinMarketCap’s heat map reveals that the majority of tokens are trading in the red zone, leading to a significant 2.47% drop in the overall crypto market capitalization to $2.31 trillion over the past 24 hours. However, the total crypto market trade volume has seen a notable 14% surge to $60.71 billion.

The second-largest cryptocurrency by trade volume, Ethereum (ETH), hasn’t been spared from the market downturn. According to the aforementioned tracker, the price of Ethereum is currently trading at $3,138, reflecting a 5.18% decline in the past 24 hours. However, its trading volume has increased by 7% during this time, reaching $13.9 billion, with a live market cap of $381 billion.
The price of Solana (SOL) has dropped by 4.71% in the last day, now trading at $135.79. Furthermore, Solana’s trading volume has also decreased within this period. According to the data, the 24-hour trading volume for Solana has plummeted by 7.94% to $2 billion. As a result, SOL now has a market cap of $6.2 billion.
